A bespoke mooring strop was commissioned from Jimmy Green Marine.  This heavy mooring rope has a 2m length of chain spliced into the centre, to avoid chafe when mooring in heavy weather.

After mooring conventionally, the mooring strop is fed through the loop of the booring buoy using a line threader. 

The strop has kept Audaciter safe and has inspired great confidence when she has been left for any period moored to ring buoys.
